Coordination

The coordination process is governed by the provisions of Circular No. 175 of 15 January 2026 and by the IATA rules set out in the Worldwide Airport Slot Guidelines (WASG), in compliance with the calendar set by IATA.

The prerequisites for slot allocation by the coordinator are as follows:

1. Slot coordination parameters, taking into account all relevant technical, operational and environmental constraints, as well as any change in those constraints.

2. Receipt, from the airport system managers, of the operating-programme performance data of the airlines at the coordinated airports.

3. Receipt, from the air carriers, of all relevant information that may be requested from them, in the form and within the deadlines specified.

4. Determination of the historic slots (SHL) of the air carriers under the 80% rule, and transmission to the carriers for validation.
