Slot Monitoring
Operational monitoring and end-of-season historics computation.
Historics computation
Historics are calculated at the end of each season in line with the IATA WASG and Circular No. 175 of 15 January 2026.
The 80/20 rule: a carrier retains its historic slots from one season to the next provided that it has used at least 80% of the slots allocated during the previous season.
The Moroccan Slots Coordinator publishes the validated historics at the start of each Initial Submission Window (SAL).
Monitoring process
Slot monitoring consists of comparing an airline's actual operations against the slots allocated to it for the season.
The Moroccan Slots Coordinator receives daily flight data from SCORE and ONDA, identifies discrepancies (unused slots, off-slot operations, duplicates) and notifies the carriers concerned.
At the end of the season, the monitoring report feeds directly into the historics calculation for the following season.
